Meet the Team at Authority Chiropractic

Dr. Thor attended Abilene Christian University, where he was first introduced to the benefits of chiropractic care. As a collegiate athlete, the demands on his body were great. Dr. Thor experienced firsthand how chiropractic care enabled him to operate at peak function, producing optimal results on the field. Feeling called to serve others in a way that would optimize their health, he pursued his education in chiropractic.

Specializing in Torque Release Technique

Dr. Thor received his Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker University and then received post-graduate training and certification in the Torque Release Technique (TRT). He specializes in this method because it is both highly specific and extremely gentle; it can be used on every member of the family, including newborns, the elderly and pregnant women.

TRT gently restores normal “tone” in the nervous system with no twisting, popping or cracking associated with manual techniques, and Dr. Thor is one of the few San Antonio chiropractors certified in this technique.

Dr. Thor and his wife Aubrey opened Authority Chiropractic in 2017, choosing San Antonio for its proximity to family, hunting and fishing-and because it was a community they wanted to serve and to raise a family in. An avid outdoorsman and sports enthusiast, Dr. Thor also enjoys spending time with his growing family.

She has experienced the incredible benefits of chiropractic firsthand, including being adjusted throughout pregnancy-even during labor. Aubrey is passionate about working alongside Dr. Thor to share the powerful message of chiropractic.
